This is the news everyone who has visited the Disneyland Resort the last few years has been hoping for. Finally, this coming July (and possibly sooner) will be the all new Pixar Pals Parking Structure!

More than 5,000 parking spaces will be added to the Resorts parking inventory when this structure opens in July. Borrowing some extremely useful technology from the new parking structures at Disney Springs, the new structure will feature a new electronic parking system in order to help speed up the parking process.
And that was not all that was announced, the Toy Story parking lot also will be expanded with more than 2,000 additional parking spaces! The newly named Bullseye section will also add an additional entrance. And that’s not all! To expedite the security and arrival process to the Disneyland Resort, there will be the addition of screening tents before getting on the Toy Story parking lot shuttles.
All of these parking enhancements and other enhancements for guest flow around the entire Resort is all apart of the massive Project Stardust, which is helping the 60+ year old Resort adapt and be ready for the next generation of Disneyland guests. Most of the work for Project Stardust should be completed by the time Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens Rise of the Resistance at the park (The second phase of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge).

April 1, 2019I really want them to proceed with the Eastern Gateway Project. Maybe eventually the political views will change and they finally can, but they need a parking structure there, and Toy Story lot needs to become a third gate!!!
