This seems like a unique dining experience only Disney can provide. Coming this July to Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night! This one-of-a-kind dining experience is an event honoring some of the most fantastic African animals and celebrating the Disney animated classic, “The Lion King.”
The evenings journey begins with a welcome reception at the Wildlife Express Train Station. Here you will board the Wildlife Express for a trip to Rafiki’s Planet Watch ( which was recently announced to re-open this Summer). Starting at the train station, you’ll receive light hors d’oeuvres, snacks, and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Once you have boarded the train and arrived at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, you’ll be greeted with even more food and drink. Here you will be able to meet favorite friends (Timon and Rafiki) and enjoy some interactive games for the whole family.
Once you’ve had all the fun you want to at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, its back aboard the Wildlife Express onto Harambe Market for the main event. Here you can enjoy the abundance of sweet and savory dishes paired with unique beverages.
Out of all the up-charge events, this is at the top of my list to do. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a special kind of theme park. And the majesty of this park only amplifies when the sun sets and the nighttime begins at DAK. So sign me up! Will you be trying out this new nighttime dining event at Disney’s Animal Kingdom?
