There’s not much to say about Samuel L. Jackson that hasn’t been said. Moreover, if it’s been said, more than likely Sam said it himself.
And the quotable quotes from his characters are ubiquitous:
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children.
I don’t know about you, but I like to think about Jules Winfield walking the Earth, like Caine. But I digress…
This time around, in Captain Marvel, we again get to see Sam as Agent Nick Fury; however, this version of Fury is a whole lot younger — and intact — than we’ve seen him.
Agent Fury is “already the coolest.. guy, in the known universe…”
But this time, Mr. Cool seems to have met his match in Carol Danvers, no?
I’m very much looking forward to Friday! Are you?
