It’s not often that I am blown away by anything; 44-years, three kids, and a long stint covering the Boston Bruins from Vancouver to Prague tends to dull your “wow” meter.
However, Walt Disney World consistently buries the needle whenever I travel to Orlando.
But now having seen “Mickey’s Search Party,” one of Feld Entertainment’s current traveling ice shows in a second, larger venue, Mickey and friends have me convinced it’s one of the best Disney experiences outside the Parks.
Color me impressed.
Saturday, I was at Boston’s TD Garden (my old home-away-from-home) to see the spectacle, which I covered via Twitter, Instagram, and Periscope:
But, with a little research, I also found some behind-the-scenes clips of the show, which give a little more context to what you’ll see rink-side.
Check out the entire collection of videos on the show, linked below:
I’m psyched to have a mid-winter, non-travel, option for some Disney fun, and I am excited to see which characters return for the next show.
Be sure to let me know what you think of Disney On Ice in the comments below.
As always, thanks to my good friends at the TD Garden…
