Recently, Walt Disney World’s mobile ordering — via My Disney Experience app celebrated a significant milestone: 1,000,000 online orders.

The mobile order service has provided guests like the Ramos family with the convenience and flexibility of ordering hours or even minutes in advance from wherever they happen to be – whether waiting in line at an attraction, on the monorail headed to the parks or even upon their arrival at the restaurant. The service debuted last year and has since expanded to Disneyland Resort as well, currently available at more than 20 quick-service dining locations across Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park.
And yesterday, Disney Parks Blog introduced an enhanced interface.

Mobile food and beverage ordering at Disney Parks is a snap, allowing guests to plan ahead, save time by not waiting in line, and make the most out of their visit to the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
And now, our team is excited to roll out a new, enhanced look that makes the mobile ordering experience easier than ever.

In addition, guests with certain allergies or dietary restrictions can better discover the options that may meet their needs at participating locations.
Having never used the service, I am going to try it when I head to Disneyland in April. That said, I’d love to know other guests’ experiences with mobile ordering.
