I am heading to Disneyland in about two months for vocational training, and I am beginning my avocational planning for my downtime.
Of particular interest are “Mickey’s Soundsational Parade” and “Mickey’s Mix Magic.”
Luckily, good friend Mike Celestino — over at LaughingPlace.com — took in both shows recently and posted full videos of each.
First up, a full-length video of Mickey’s Soundsational Parade:
Mickey’s Soundsational Parade first made its debut in May ofMike Celestino, LaughingPlace.com
2011,and is officially described as “whimsical, rhythmical, high-energy procession” that stars many favorite Disney characters. “Wave to Minnie and Pluto as well as familiar faces from Aladdin, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid and more. Costumed musicians, syncopated dancers andspectacular floats follow Mickey’s animated beat, encouraging Guests to sing along.
Then check out the full length clip of Mickey’s Mix Magic:
It’s a decidedly different and irreverent take on nighttime entertainment in The Happiest Place On Earth, and reactions to it, like anything new or risk-taking that comes out of WDI, are of course going to vary from enthusiastic praise to finger-wagging disapproval.Mike Celestino, LaughingPlace.com
I’ll be seeing Mike when I head out west later this year, and will pick his brain about the best shows and attractions at Disneyland Resort.
Until then, what do you think about Disney’s newest offerings in Anaheim?
