This made my morning.
Disney Parks Blog presented a new video featuring Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products Chairman Bob Chapek from their presentation at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo (IAAPA).
“Walt never intended his parks become museums where people come to see Disney history. Instead, they are living things that evolve with the times and with guests.”Bob Chapek
Amen. Check out the video:
I am thrilled with this talk about innovation.
During the 20th Century, several generations associated thoughts about technological progress with The Walt Disney Company and Chapek’s words speak loudly to a reaffirmation of that charge.
But what do you think of Chapek’s speech? Can you deal with changes to the parks as Disney looks to the future? Or would you rather visit a museum?
Or, perhaps, there’s a middle ground?
