There’s a whole lot of spoilers and speculation about (Gwyneth Paltrow) Pepper Potts’ role in Avengers 4 after the jump…

Seriously, turn back.
Okay, you’re still here. And I am pretty excited about the following Marvel rumor, which was broken down by Erik Voss from New Rockstars:
It's a good, ole-fashioned New Rockstars Tweet Down! Why is Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts) in an Iron Man-esque suit? Will she be taking up the Iron Man mantle? Check out our latest video for all our theories: https://t.co/R1HJK7Fw91 pic.twitter.com/nD4opW8NBi

So, unlike most of you, I enjoyed Iron Man 3.
And, although it has its sad moments — and downright heartbreaking moments (especially for fans of the armor) — the film struck me as a worthy continuance of the MCU’s Stark saga in that it showed how deeply flawed and broken Tony really is after the events of Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and Avengers.
However, I like the moments in the movie when Pepper dons the Iron Man suit or uses Tony’s tech:
So awesome: “What? What! Are you mad at me?” LOL.
I love Pepper as a character and enjoy her attempt to rescue Tony at the beginning of the film and eventually the couple’s work to defeat a common enemy in the climax.
There’s much to love here, but pivotal to my enjoyment is Paltrow’s portrayal of Potts as — literally — Tony’s kick butt partner.
Now, it seems, we might have more of that coming. Watch the following breakdown from Voss and enjoy the feverish nerdiness of the possibilities.
Truthfully, I am one of the 2% of the people on the planet who didn’t love Avengers: Infinity War. It was a good movie, but I felt pretty manipulated (and freaking sad, afterward).
Too much. Too much. Too much. And then too long of a wait for the sequel.
Now, as more and more details emerge, nevermind some of the clues left at the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp, the prospect of watching Avengers 4 seems less daunting than it did after I walked, zombie-like, out of the cinema after Infinity War.
I’m back on board.
But what about you? Are you excited about Avengers 4? Pepper in the Rescue armor?

October 26, 2018Personally I’m not a Pepper fan & I think in general she’s thankfully just a small sideline that is more to reflect on Tony’s character. There is too many payoffs & more important character arcs that has to be done in Avengers 4 so anything more than a few minutes on screen giving her any more than one “cool” scene would be a surprise.
While Infinity War is really an assault on the senses and full of big setpiece after setpiece given everything that Disney wanted to include the Russos did a super job blending it all together.
After numerous viewings I do have to say it doesn’t deminish as the big scenes while you continue to enjoy…the story and character arcs become more enjoyable also & pleasing to see.
Lets hope Avengers 4 will provide the big finale which I think it will..and hopefully even you may enjoy it yourself John😀
